DUDLEY Council services have been hit by the return of significant snow falls in the region.
Bin collections have been suspended today (Wednesday January 13), council bosses hope to complete outstanding collections by the weekend.
Black box recycling collections have also been suspended due to the weather, residents are being advised to wait for their next scheduled collection in two weeks when excess materials will also be taken.
The Dell Stadium is closed until further notice and transport to day centres and home library services have also been suspended.
Dudley Council says they have sufficient grit at their Lister Road depot for the current conditions and are in consultation on a national level over rationing and future deliveries.
More schools have been forced to closed today.
Primary schools affected include Briar Primary and Bromley-Pensnett in Kingswinford and Rufford Primary in Stourbridge.
Special Schools closed include Cherry Tree Leaning Centre, Pens Meadow in Stourbridge, the Phoenix Centre and Woodsetton in Dudley.
Pupil referral units at Abberley Street, The Mere and The Sycamore Centre are also shut today.
