MERRY Hill shoppers are being invited to nominate a borough charity to receive a year’s worth of fundraising and support from Sainsbury’s.
Supermarket shoppers have until May 25 to but forward the names of a charity in Dudley which is important to them, by filling in a form and dropping it into the voting box, which is situated at the Customer Information Desk.
A shortlist of nominations will be drawn up after the date and colleagues will invite the top three charities into the store to talk about how Sainsbury's can support them.
The winning charity will be announced next month.
Last year, staff and customers raised over £3,000 for Mary Stevens Hospice.
Store manager Natalie Walker said: “The Local Charity Partner scheme really engages both our colleagues and customers. “This is a great opportunity for our customers to give a local charity that’s close to their hearts the chance to receive fundraising and other support from Sainsbury’s Merry Hill for a whole year.
“We now need our customers to come in and tell us who we should consider supporting for the third year of the scheme.”
