THE new owners of a Black Country pub have thrown down the culinary gauntlet to two borough radio station presenters in a 'come dine with me' style challenge.
Beacon's breakfast presenter Fresh is getting set to take on drivetime presenter James Carpenter to see who can come up with the best menu and be crowned Top Chef at The Fellows in Dudley.
The presenters have each created a signature three-course meal which will be served at The Broadway pub on the evening of Thursday May 26.
Listeners are invited to enter online at beaconradio.co.uk for their chance of winning a table for four people at the event when diners will be offered the two menus to choose from.
The presenter whose menu gets the most orders on the night will be crowned the winner.
James Carpenter said: "I love cooking and preparing new dishes so I’m looking forward to working with the chefs at the Fellows to create a delicious menu that will be tempting to the listeners."
Closing date for entries is today Thursday May 19.
