BOROUGH residents are being urged to sign up to a new recruitment campaign to become fundraising volunteers for St John Ambulance.
Each year up to 150,000 people die in situations where first aid could have given them the chance to live.
St John Ambulance teaches people the vital skills so they can be the ones making the difference and volunteer fundraisers are needed to raise funds to enable it to continue.
No previous fundraising experience is necessary and anyone interested should be enthusiastic and energetic to fundraise for St John Ambulance at community events.
