BROMSGROVE District Councillors voted to keep their leader and chairman for another year at the authority’s AGM.
The meeting, on May 19, approved the appointment of Cllr Roger Hollingworth to the top job and the council will continue to be chaired by Cllr June Griffiths.
In a reshuffle which reduced the number of cabinet jobs from eight to six, Cllr Hollingworth took the portfolio for finance, partnerships and economic development.
Cllr Margaret Sherrey was appointed as deputy leader and portfolio holder for community services including the young and elderly people.
