STOURBRIDGE bikers are gearing up for their biggest ever bash which promises to be an all-action family show.

The annual Custom Show from Stourbridge Motorcycle Club has become an established attraction on the national biking calendar, attracting visitors from around the UK.

The club’s 13th show, set for Saturday July 9 at The River Rooms in Mill Race Lane, looks on track to race through the records to scoop a bumper haul of charity cash.

Stourbridge Motorcycle Club spokesman, Mark Palmer, said: “It will be bigger than ever with more than 400 bikes on display, last year we had 1,000 visitors and we are hoping for more this year.”

The show will feature a range of categories for judges to consider including best Harley, custom, streetbike, trike and scooter.

The free show will also include attractions for younger visitors with a host of family friendly stalls including Splat the Rat.

Proceeds from the show, which also features a full day of live music headlined by rockers Still Crazy, will be divided between charities Help The Heroes and The Blue Cross Animal Sanctuary.

Bridge 102.5FM broadcaster and lifelong biker Graham Fisher MBE will be among the judges for this year’s event, which will be open throughout the day.

He said: “I will be thrilled to bits to be surrounded by bikes at the event, we are right at the heart of the motor bike industry and finally we have a bike show in this area. I am proud to be one of the judges.”
