PUPILS at a Kinver school are making a song and dance about the story of an abandoned child searching for her family.
Around 40 students at Edgecliff High School are into final preparations for their production of Annie at the school theatre.
The show, which is set to run from June 22 to 24, tells the rags to riches tale of a young girl in New York during the Great Depression whose adventures take her from an orphanage to the home of a billionaire.
Year eight pupils at the Enville Road school chose Annie to be the school production and the cast, aged from 11 to 15, have given up their free time for rehearsals which began in January.
Tickets to see Annie cost £5 and are available from the school office.
