A BOMB scare has forced police to seal off Stourbridge High Street to shoppers and motorists.
The road remains closed after more than 20 minutes as officers investigate a "security alert" at the Halifax building society.
A cordon has been put in place and police officers have been ordering shoppers to stay away.
A police spokeswoman confirmed a bomb scare was behind the road closure but she said bomb disposal experts have not been alerted.
