HAGLEY villagers are getting set for an event which has become a popular annual feature in the village diary.
Following its reintroduction in 2005, the village fete has established itself as a community show which helps to support a variety of charities.
The fete is organised by Hagley Community Association (HCA) and this years event, on Saturday July 2, will open at 1.30pm with a display from Verve UK Taekwondo and a children’s fancy dress at 2pm judged by Lord and Lady Cobham.
Other attractions at the free event will include live music, refreshments, quad bikes, a bouncy castle and stalls by HCA affiliated societies, including village WIs, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Hagley Country Market, Clent Hills Singers, Wives and Women’s Fellowship, Hagley Country Market, Haybridge High School PTA and Hagley Rotary Club.
