THE Stourbridge and District Branch of Cats Protection is holding its next homing show this weekend.
The free event, which will showcase some of the cats and kittens currently needing new homes, is being held at St James’s Church Hall, Belfry Drive, Wollaston, on Saturday June 25 from midday to 2pm.
Rob Hall, branch co-ordinator, said: “Our homing shows are always popular events. It’s a great way to meet some of the lovely felines that we’re currently looking after.
“All of our cats and kittens have been checked by a vet, treated for fleas and worms, micro-chipped, neutered (if old enough) and fully vaccinated.”
There will also be free refreshments, information and advice, a free goody bag, tombola and cat-related goods and gifts for sale.
Anyone interested in volunteering can also chat to volunteers to find our more out about how to get involved with the charity.
Visitors can also donate old mobile phones, stamps, foreign currency and unwanted cat food, toys, carriers and beds.
