AMBLECOTE Holy Trinity (2nd Stourbridge) Scout Group is celebrating its centenary this year by hosting an open day this weekend.
The group’s Centenary Celebration day will be held at the scout hut in School Drive, Amblecote, from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Saturday June 25.
Old and new members from Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are invited to attend along with members of the public.
Drinks and refreshments will be available throughout the day – most prepared in traditional camp way.
There will also be a zip wire for adventurous visitors, memorabilia on display from days gone by, and chance for previous members to reminisce about scouting days of old and for newcomers to find out more about the movement today.
