STOURBRIDGE and Halesowen branch of Age Concern is holding its summer gala this weekend.
The event, the biggest fundraiser in the charity’s calendar, takes place this Saturday (June 25) at the Mary Stevens Centre off Hagley Road, Oldswinford.
Stourbridge MP Margot James will open the event at 11am and activities will go on until 4pm.
Attractions will include ‘have a go’ competitions, archery, an auction, dance demonstrations, the RAF ATC marching band, Dudley Hospital Radio, a barbecue and stalls.
The charity provides care, support and information for the borough’s elderly.
