THE Tab Operatic Society is seeking a sandy coloured shaggy dog to appear in its forthcoming production of Annie.
The Cradley Heath based group is getting set to stage the much-loved show at Brierley Hill Civic Hall in April 2012.
Open auditions will be held later this month to find a young star, aged seven or over, to play the title role of flame-haired orphan Annie. Auditions will also be held to cast the roles of Annie’s orphanage pals and main adult characters such as Daddy Warbucks.
But the society is also on the hunt for a well-behaved, medium-sized dog to take to the stage as Annie’s dog Sandy.
Auditions will be held at Dudley Wood Methodist Church Hall, Quarry Road, Dudley Wood, on Sunday July 24 and Wednesday July 27.
For more details on scripts, song lyrics and audition times call Tab secretary Elaine Vine on 0121 550 7254 or producer Audree Henwood on 01384 393196.
