CHAMPIONS Stourbridge racked up another milestone as they demolished Oldswinford by 212 runs.
Victory took Stour past the league record of 380 points and they need just three points from their final game to break the 400-point barrier.
The win also saw the hosts post their highest total of the season as they racked up 332-2 batting first.
Oldswinford picked up the early wicket of Matt Bradley (14) and then Steven Game (36).
But no more wickets fell as Josh Banks and Audy Alexander made hay. Banks was strong in defence and worked hard not to give his wicket away, while at the other end Alexander cracked on with ease.
In the last ten overs the score rocketed from 200 to 332 as Banks finished on 121 and Alexander 130.
Lee Nightingale and Asa Robinson got Oldswinford’s unenviable run chase off to a positive start as they hit 45 off the first six overs.
But a switch to spin bowling did the damage as Kalpesh Patel and Alexander set about the top order.
Patel removed Asa Robinson for 20 off his first delivery caught behind and struck again in his second over taking the wicket of Nightingale for 28.
Harry Stanier scored nine in the space of 14 overs before being removed by Alexander. Christy Kehoe was the top scorer for Oldswinford with 24 but he was the fifth wicket to go with the score on 94.
James Winders took 4-17 in just under five overs to mop up the tail.
