A CENTURY from Dave Skelding helped Pedmore to a thrilling two-wicket win at Colwall in Worcester League Division One.
In a high-scoring game, visitors Colwall won the toss and batted first, making 243-5 with an unbeaten 101 from opener Dan Head.
Skelding and Danny McDonnell (35) got Pedmore’s reply off to a flyer as they put on an opening stand of 67.
But wickets then fell at regular intervals as Dylan Marshall (3-47) and Jonathan Hunter (3-72) ran amok.
However, they couldn’t remove Skelding until he had amassed 107 and Pedmore were just two runs from victory. Pedmore are up to third, with a trip to Pershore awaiting them this Saturday.
