OLDSWINFORD remain in the Worcestershire League Division One title hunt after a low-scoring thriller against Colwall.
Batting first, hosts Oldswinford were skittled out for just 93 but managed to dismiss the visitors for seven fewer runs to stay third in the standings.
Only Christy Kehoe (32) showed any patience in a home batting performance which included five ducks and a five wicket haul for visiting bowler James Nightingale.
But Oldswinford hit back straight away in the visitors’ reply, with Colwall falling to 0-2 and then 13-4.
A fifth wicket stand of 49 between Barrett Price (27) and Tom Riley (22) seemed to be sending the game Colwall’s way but they were both removed by Matt Sidaway, before Thomas Blunt picked up four wickers as he demolished the tail.
