STAFF at Pensnett’s National Express bus garage have put their hats together to raise money for Russell Hall Hospital’s Neonatal Care Unit.
On Saturday October 31, drivers and office staff from the garage will be wearing a funny hat for Halloween, with donations going towards the charity.
Fundraising driver David Gerrard, who came up with the idea with operations manager Kerry Jukes-Rowe, said: “We will be driving our buses through haunted Halesowen, scary Stourbridge and ghostly Gornal this Halloween.
“There will be no trick or treating our passengers, but you can give us points out of 10 for the best hat.”
Garage staff, who selected Russell Hall’s Neonatal Unit as a chosen charity for 2015-2016, have raised £660 from a charity football match against West Midlands Police and also collected funds at a charity golf weekend.
