FIVE teenagers who were arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Co-op store in Dudley last month will face no further police action.
Three 17-year-olds – from Wednesbury, Kingswinford and Dudley – plus a 16-year-old from Quarry Bank and an 18-year-old man from Brierley Hill, were all arrested on suspicion of robbery following the incident at the Overfield Road store in Russells Hall on April 11.
All five were since bailed by police, but following an investigation, the teens have been told they will face no further action regarding the robbery.
Officers did, however, charge 18-year-old Jordan Garvey with possession of cannabis. Garvey will appear before Dudley magistrates on June 7.
