STAFF at Sainsbury's Amblecote have thanked customers and colleagues for helping to raise more than £337 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Argos and Sainsbury's store colleagues ran a coffee morning in store on September 29 as part of the nationwide Macmillan Coffee Morning fundraising initiative, while Sainsbury’s colleagues also held a cake-off which contributed to the total raised for the charity.
Store colleagues Lynda Rees, Elizabeth Williams, Kerry Rowley and Julie Bate gave up their own time on the day to support the events and raise awareness and vital funds for the charity which helps people and families affected by cancer.
