A DUDLEY man has been charged with the murder of a Birmingham dad who was gunned down in a drive-by shooting.
Darielle Williams, aged 23, of Attingham Drive, will appear before Birmingham Magistrates this morning (Saturday, October 28).
He is one of five men charged with the murder of 36-year-old father-of-four Mekel Sterling.
Mr Sterling, known locally as Skelly, died in hospital after being shot on Great Hampton Row on the night of Wednesday 13 September.
Four men were arrested earlier this week following dawn raids across Birmingham and the Black Country. A fifth handed himself in to a police station.
The other four men charged are Kayne Robinson, aged 24 from Roseberry Street, Springhill, Devonte May, aged 23 from Victoria Road, Handsworth, Jacob Brown, aged 24 from Bowling Green Lane, Handsworth and Geary Barnett, aged 19 from James Turner Street, Winson Green.
