STAFF at Russells Hall Hospital have bid farewell to a long serving cardiologist, who has retired following a 23-year career.
Consultant cardiologist, and medical service head Dr Jane Flint has worked for The Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 1988 and played a vital role in developing the cardiology service into one of the most respected in the country.
Dr Flint said: "I have spent 23 enjoyable years in Dudley and have been proud to have further developed our district cardiology service to one as comprehensive as any.
“I am also proud to have had the opportunity to pioneer change across the Black Country working with the most wonderful team of fellow consultants, nurses, physiologists and radiographers.”
Dr Flint will continue her part-time interests in nuclear cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, teaching and a clinic.
