A STOURBRIDGE girl who loves animals saw ‘fur’ herself how creatures are cared for in a vet’s surgery.
Carla Hulme, aged eight, spent a morning at Vets 4 Pets in Halesowen after good samaritans from the charity Wishing Well arranged the visit as she recovered from a tonsil operation.
Carla, who attends Peter’s Hill Primary School, in Amblecote, was invited to watch an operation and she assisted in looking after cats at the surgery.
Her mum, Jane Hulme, said: “She absolutely loved it, she was really excited and even said she wanted to have another operation so she could go again.
“She loves animals, when our dog needed eye drops she was the only one who could get them in.”
