A BRIERLEY Hill teenager who robbed a 14-year-old schoolboy at Dudley Bus Station has been placed under supervision for two years.
Mitchell Taylor, of Hickman Road, Brockmoor, was further told by Judge Nicholas Webb he must obey a six month curfew order.
Helena Miller, prosecuting, said Taylor first approached the boy and demanded his mobile telephone saying: "Empty your pockets or I will shank you in the face."
The frightened schoolboy handed over £2.50 and Taylor left but he returned a short time later when he snapped the victim's watch off his wrist.
Taylor admitted robbery and he was told by the judge he must also pay £82.50 to the boy to cover the cost of his lost watch and the £2.50.
The judge told the 19-year-old he had committed a serious offence as he further ordered him to pay the boy £150 compensation for the "emotional damage" he had suffered from the offence.
Miss Miller stressed to Wolverhampton Crown Court that the victim suffered no injuries at the hands of Taylor.
