A MOTORCYCLIST has been seriously injured after a crash with a lorry this morning (Thursday).
The incident happened at 11.56am on Brettell Lane at Amblecote.
An ambulance, a MERIT trauma doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene of the smash and a spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “On arrival, ambulance staff found the motorcyclist, a man, lying in the road.
“He was quickly assessed and treated for multiple serious injuries before being transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, by ambulance.
“The MERIT doctor travelled on the back of the ambulance to help continue treatment as the patient was transported to hospital on blue lights and sirens.”
