TWO 16-year-old boys were arrested in Amblecote - minutes after officers abandoned a police car chase in Brierley Hill.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police told the News officers pursued a suspected stolen Ford Kuga, which triggered an ANPR camera in Brierley Hill at 4.30pm on Saturday October 12.
Just minutes after officers abandoned the pursuit, the car hit a stationary vehicle in Platts Crescent, Amblecote.
Two 16-year-old boys were then found by officers hiding in a garden and were arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of a bladed article.
One of the teenagers was also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and possession of a controlled drug.
They have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Anyone with any information that could help the police investigation is asked to call police on 101.
