KINVER Community Library is inviting people to join one of two countryside walks next month.
Two walks, suitable for different levels of fitness, will start from the library in Vicarage Drive on Tuesday June 4.
A long walk, covering 11.5 miles, starts at 10am and a shorter 5.5-mile walk sets off at 12.30pm.
Walkers are asked to take a packed lunch and ensure footwear/clothing are appropriate for weather conditions.
Tea and cakes will be available in the library afterwards from around 3.30pm.
Library chairman Paul Wooddisse said: "This is a great opportunity to meet new people with a shared interest in walking.
“We are hoping walkers of different levels of fitness will be encouraged to sign-up for what will certainly be a fun and very sociable day out."
Booking ahead is essential. The walks cost £2 per person.
Call the library on 01384 872348 to reserve a place or for more information.
The walks are not suitable for dogs, as there are several stiles on both routes.
