LYE businessman and community campaigner Gary Farmer is hoping to put on a tail-waggingly fun charity event for four-legged friends and their owners.
Mr Farmer, who runs Poshkutz pet grooming parlour in Lye High Street, is organising a Paws in the Park event for 2020 at Old Hill Cricket Club on Sunday June 7.
The outdoor event will include a dog agility display and best in show award, plus a host of family-friendly fun and entertainment.
He said the event was first organised as a massive meet and greet day for his clients and their dogs but it has now turned into a big charity fun day and he added: "We are working hard to make this a success to raise as much money as possible."
The event will raise money for a number of borough charities including Mary Stevens Hospice and the Greyhound Trust.
Entertainment will include an inflatable assault course, DJ and live music, 2nd City Radio, plus a a host of stalls selling crafts, cake and fashion items, a buffet, burger van, gin bar and a host of other refreshments and street food stalls.
