TECHONOPHOBES who find themselves completely dumbfounded by the workings of their mobile phones can rest easy - because help is at hand.
Forward thinking staff at Bounce Back have arranged for some free tuition sessions for those over the age of 50 who are baffled by all the buttons and settings on their phone.
They have joined forces with young adults from the Prince's Trust to arrange one-to-one assistance at the Quarry Bank Community Centre on Monday, July 3, between 2.15pm and 4pm.
Sandy Jones, Bounce Back managing director, said “For the first time, Bounce Back has joined forces with The Prince’s Trust to hold this open afternoon particularly for mobile phone tuition.
“It proved to be so popular on the occasions when I helped organise it for Age UK Dudley, before I was made redundant last December through lack of funding, I have decided to continue the practice.
“It is an excellent opportunity for people to learn how to get the full use of their mobiles and it’s reassuring that students of the Prince’s Trust Team Programme will have the knowledge for all types of mobiles phones.
“Just bring in your mobile, no matter what type it is, and receive one-to-one assistance from friendly young adults.”
