FOUR people are facing trial in connection with the death of tragic Ellie Underhill who died after falling from a car bonnet on a Dudley supermarket carpark.
The 20-year-old, of Shearwater Drive, Quarry Bank, died a week after suffering head injuries in the incident on the Tesco Extra car park, off Birmingham Road, on Boxing Day 2016.
Luke Hickman, aged 19, of Wassell Road, Wollescote, appeared before Walsall magistrates on Wednesday January 10 charged with unlawfully killing Ellie and conspiracy to pervert the cause of justice.
Ross Bingham, aged 20, of Hagley Road, Edgbaston, Elly Phillips, aged 19, of Seymour Road, Wollescote, and Hana Edwards, aged 18, of Grove Road, Wollescote, also appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court on January 10 charged with conspiracy to pervert the cause of justice.
All four were granted conditional bail to await trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court where they are due to appear on February 7.
