A DEDICATED Wordsley school girl has been praised and rewarded by her MP after decorating the toilets of Richardson Hall.
Megan Kings, of Crestwood School, spent several weekends painting and decorating the ladies toilets of the community centre as part of her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.
The 14-year-old was presented with the award on behalf of Wordsley Community Centre after saving them hundreds of pounds.
She was presented with a tablet device by Dudley South MP Mike Wood at his Older People's Information Fair on March 16.
Mr Wood said: "This is a fantastic achievement. It is truly inspiring to see a young person go the extra mile to help their local community.
“We all wish Megan the very best of luck as she progresses with her Duke of Edinburgh Award.”
