A COTTAGE in Clent has featured in an episode of popular BBC TV programme Homes Under the Hammer.
Walton & Hipkiss’ Hagley office were invited to take part in the show, with sales manager Janis Borley asked to give her initial opinion on the home in Holy Cross, as well as value the property following its renovation.
Janis said it was “an experience” to be part of the show and that it was nice to meet the team behind the scenes as well as I’m A Celebrity star and programme host Martin Roberts.
She said: “The property was a mid-terraced two bedroom cottage in need of refurbishment, but had interesting features such as the original stove and its quaintness.
“However on the re-visit, I could only have admiration for the works completed, which had been carried out to a very high standard by the new owners.”
She added: “Having watched the programme, I found it really interesting to see how each party played their part in putting the show together.”
The episode was first broadcast on Tuesday (January 3), and is now available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
