IN reply to the woman whose daughter's car was vandalised while in a disabled bay, while I do not condone the damage to your daughter's car, I have to say that she was in the wrong.
Just because there are no toddler spaces does not give her the right to park in a disabled space!
When my children were young we just had to park with everyone else and be careful!
As for the short-term disabilities well you said yourself, they don't qualify. That is the rule!
There is nothing admirable about not having a blue badge and parking there anyway (whether you think you need to or not!) That is why blue badges exist.
The fact that your daughter is a nurse is irrelevant and if she is such a caring person she wouldn't have parked where she did!
Maybe you and your daughter would prefer to be able to use these spaces legally and not be able to walk or work!
And by the way, we don't get given our cars, we suffer for them, we need them, we don't have a choice.
