PRIOR to my letter in the Stourbridge News of 1 March, some stalls in the market are already closed, this is a shame, and to what cost, will these stalls ever come back, I doubt it, I now hear the haberdashery stall will be closing on May 12, the nearest one would be at Wollaston.

These stalls are disappearing in the name of progress', I am all in favour of improving the Crown Centre but not to the cost of people's businesses.

Now I read that Tesco are going to take over the old Morrison's shop, but that will be much too small, so will they take the market hall as well, and perhaps put the market hall somewhere else, but where? This town had Tesco in once before and they did not last for long they "hopped" it and now they want to come back with a vengeance.

Now what will happen to the "Angel Triangle"? Will they sell it off or let it stand as "brown land", which will mean that nobody will be able to buy it as the price would be too high. Now if they were to build flats on the Angel Triangle I do not think many people would object.
