I TOTALLY agree with Adrian of Brierley Hill (email dated 15.3.07), also, I am not a member of any political party.
In October last year my daughter, a pupil of Thorns Community College, came home with a standard copy of a letter via Richard Carter, Dudley Council, informing parents of the re-location of the Warehouse to Atlantic House in Lye.
Local residents of the area signed petitions and parents raised concerns, however, despite this the move went ahead and very recently staff moved stealth-like to Atlantic House leaving another empty building in Brierley Hill.
I too have been informed this project was signed, sealed and approved before parents even knew about the proposals.
Since October 2006 the parents of pupils at Thorns haven't had any further correspondence from Dudley Council - is this another case of Dudley Council's 'put up and shut up' policy?
Sounds like deja vu to me - remember Brierley Hill Baths?
The sooner Dudley Council's directorate, MPs and councillors are given a shake-up the better.
