HAVING just arrived in the community, we were quite disappointed wen we went to the Foley Arms for lunch and found that children were not welcome.
A kind Samaritan recommended the Oldswinford as an alternative. We found it to be a lovely establishment that welcomes everyone.
Now I see a sign on the door at St Peters pre-school asking that parents not use the Foley Arms parking lot when dropping off and picking up their children.
The management of the Foley Arms has requested that it not be used. It hardly seems that the short amount of time that it takes to drop off and pick up children at 9:15 and 12:00 would pose a problem for such a large parking lot. Especially when there are plenty of empty parking spaces each day when I walk by at these times.
By contrast The Oldswinford allows parents of the area to use their facilities when dropping off and picking up children from Oldswinford CofE.
What a difference of policy. I hope the people of this community can show there appreciation by frequently patronizing the Oldswinford and avoid the Foley Arms.
