I AM writing to ask for your help to find people with information from over 60 years ago.
I am currently researching the history of the Second World Wars, American 52nd General Hospital when it was at Wolverley near Kidderminster.
Through my research I have discovered that Stourbridge people became friendly with the GIs from the hospital.
Stourbridge must have been a popular place to visit because the GI's tried to arrange for a regular bus service from the camp to Stourbridge town centre.
They are also known to have used the town's baths for swimming lessons.
I would like to hear from any of your readers who might be able to help me record some of those events from our past.
