BRIERLEY Hill Community Forum is giving residents the opportunity to nominate kind-hearted folk for a community award.
The Heart Of The Community Award is aimed at acknowledging people who give their time to help the community or an voluntary organisation.
Criteria to be nominated are nominees have to be residents in the Brierley Hill, Brockmoor and Pensnett wards and give their time to help others voluntarily.
Executive officer of the Brierley Hill Community Forum, Mike Mason, said: "The awards are an opportunity for local people to recognise their neighbours' contribution to the area.
"The forum wants to recognise and honour people of all ages who make a difference to their neighbourhood through the things they do for others, either one person or many.
"There is no judging, all nominees who meet these simple criteria will be invited and presented with an award."
The award evening will take place on Friday May 11 at Brierley Hill Civic Hall and is being sponsored by Westfield Merry Hill.
To nominate someone fill in a nomination form which are available from Signpost, 175 High Street, Brierley Hill or from the Brierley Hill Regeneration Partnership and Brierley Hill Community Offices 22-23 Waterfront East.
