MARY Stevens Park is a great asset to Norton and Stourbridge. People visit the park from miles around as it is so beautiful and a lovely place to bring children and families.
I would like to thank councillor Hilary Bills for her sterling work in making sure the park remains a park for all the people.
All the recent work that has taken place from the lake to the war memorial and the cafe it is a major credit to the council employees and local residents.
It mist never be forgotten that Earnest Stevens gave the park to all of the people and it does not belong to any one person or family.
