WE felt we must put pen to paper to congratulate our local council, for once.
We realise the severe financial constraints the council has to adhere to these days and this is what makes it seem more amazing that the council has decided to plant young new trees in our area, Norton, and other parts of the borough hopefully.
We were pleased to see they’ve been planted well with strong stakes and an ideal time of year to plant them, with winter rains giving them a good start. We thank you very much whoever is responsible and we look forward to seeing them develop into mature trees.
