IN recent weeks, people who use the drop in centre Dove House have been informed the council have withdrawn their funding of such buildings.
The building is owed by the charity Dudley Mind, situated on the Russells Hall site.
It is only open five afternoons per week where people suffering mental health conditions can go for support and advice.
People suffering from mental illness find isolation worsens their condition.
It is a very mean and spiteful act to take the little support they have away from them.
The worst part of it is there is nothing at all going to be put in its place to help support people.
Yes of course the council have to make cuts, but to pick on the weakest and most vulnerable people to save such a tiny sum of money!
Please Dudley Council think again.
