What are our politicians doing by allowing our children and grandchildren to be openly threatened by the consequences of leaving the EU? If the worst happens and Britain starts running out of food and medicines, we may have to depend upon emergency airlifts from Europe. Such scaremongering might be a way of making a less extreme agreement more palatable, but a growing number of us believe that any exit plan is worse than the alternative of remaining in the EU.
