AFTER reading an article published in two national newspapers concerning the Regionalisation planned by Brussels EU administration who have produced a map identifying the manner in how the British Isles will be split into regions, I felt I must comment.
It appears the southern counties of England are to become part of a new region named Manche' administered by France, the Eastern counties and part of Central England will be renamed North Sea Region' administered from Portugal, the English Channel renamed Channel Sea', any reference to the name England omitted.
Scotland appears to be exempt from this re-organisation and a spokesman' for the EU claims, "this reorganisation is just for encouraging Northern France to carry out more business with the Kent area'.
I think that statement should be taken with a large pinch of salt, bearing in mind the saying He who pays the piper calls the tune'.
What a situation for us now, to be told to expect and accept, when you consider the sacrifices the British Isles and it's Commonwealth partners made to liberate Europe 60 odd years ago, plus the fact that we took on an American Lease Lend Loan to provide the means to accomplish this, a debt that took us four decades to repay and now we are being advised by these countries to accept this regionalisation' and the eventual loss of national Identity as the future.
The very fact that this situation is being discussed is due to the connivance of self-centred individuals in our own Government and Administration who envisage lucrative opportunities for themselves in this new formation, these individuals are of course the grand children generation', of the 30/40s Generation that made those past sacrifices, so that the future generations of Great Britain would have a stable standard of living and the dismantling of Britain to join a European conglomerate governed by people in other countries makes a mockery of that generation's ideals.
It would appears that England, Great Britain and the British Isles have little meaning to these individuals bent on this course of action with national pride being ignored or spurned unless there is an opportunity for personal gain.
I await to see the explanations regarding this proposed EU declaration from our local MP or her political opponent but I will not hold my breath, incidentally Mr Blair/Mr Brown and their fellow Scottish MPs have achieved far more for the Jacobite cause in the last ten years than Scotland managed to achieve in 350 years, or am I being a little paranoid.
