THERE has been a lovely tree for as long as I can remember, all my life in fact, it has been a haven for birds nesting, squirrels building their drags, also night owls and a delight to see.
On one of the days last week, all in a few hours it was demoralised, in spite of petitions, public meetings, etc, in trying to save it.
I hope the ones responsible for this get nightmares for destroying one of God's most beautiful creations. We are sick of looking at bricks and mortar, with all these horrible so called (apartments) which are being stuck up everywhere..
England with all its restrictions, rules and regulations is going to pot.
Free country my foot.
