I REFER to the article triggered by councillor Mike Evans who would like Dudley to be reconnected to the mail network to boost visitors to Dudley Zoo.
Surely we don't need to be visiting the zoo to benefit from trains on this old rail line, although I wish the zoo well.
What about all the car journeys to Merry Hill?
Often one founds oneself stuck in heavy congestion, part of the problem', no doubt snarling up all the buses which one could travel on if one wasn't just "popping" to Merry Hill.
It seems ridiculous that there is unused rail line running so near to Merry Hill, I believe this is the very same one that runs to Dudley.
Where are all the other green' councillors campaigning to get passenger trains back on this?
I would love to jump on a train to Merry Hill from Stourbridge.
Clare Klocke, Stourbridge
