MAY I reply to Kay Allsopp’s viewpoint, ‘The mythical world of hoodie-huggers and (Christians).
Kay, you suggest that all of us misguided people should join the real world. Well Kay, we are in the real world, Christians and non believers alike.
The fact of the matter is that these lawbreakers and hoodies as you name them are products of this fallen world. But it is not the world but those who choose by their selfish behaviour to ignore their duties as respectable civilised human beings by setting their own standards of behaviour, that are opposed by all decent and respectful living people.
We as a nation have spawned a society of misfit that always look for the easy way out.
We as a nation, have lost all sense of responsibility. For a start, more and more couples are ignoring marriage and its responsibilities and chose instead to take the easy way out and live in sin.
After all, their unbalanced thinking is, if it don’t work out, throw it away and start again. It’s easier that way.
More and more people are choosing to live off the state; you and me in other words.
Parents no longer teach their children decent ways of living, instead they just leave them to their own devices, it’s easier that way.
There are those who allow their children to view revolting TV programmes instead of educating them in terms of decency and teaching them responsibilities, but then it’s easier that way, whether you believe it is or not.
The fact is, the Bible is inspired by the creator, God, to ignore God is to side with the Devil, it is then that we reap the consequences of a lawless society. The Bible also warns that in the last days, lawlessness will increase, then the end will come. Beware Kay, the Devil can fool even good people such as yourself. Wake up nation before it’s too late.
