HAVING just watched the television series on the life of Charles Darwin and the scientific proof of evolution, it saddens me to walk past the local primary school displaying a large notice board saying, ‘Welcome to St James, where your children can experience the love of Jesus Christ’.
How on earth do the teachers at this school sleep in their beds at night knowing they are peddling such an untruth.
A far wiser man than me, the late John Lennon once wrote, ‘What a better world it would be with no religion and praying to a non-existent god’.
Can anyone honestly put their hand on their heart and say he was not right?
