ON Tuesday September 23, I was proceeding along the Kidderminster Road, the A456, on my mobility scooter, returning from a visit to my doctor and feeling quite unwell, a large black car pulled up alongside me, asking if the handbag lying on the pavement way behind me was mine.
Indeed it was. I hadn’t even noticed it had dropped off my handlebar.
I felt so ill and weak, I assured the driver it was and turned back, only to encounter another white car had also pulled up, this gentleman also asking if it was my handbag. His lady was already running back to retrieve it for me.
How wonderfully kind, I was more grateful than words can express, both cars waited until they knew I was alright.
This very kind act has restored my faith in humanity.
I am writing in the hope that both drivers may see my letter of thanks, bless them both.
I shall never forget these people so please, please, please print my letter.
I felt too poorly to take their car numbers or maybe I could have thanked them personally.
Again with my heartfelt thanks, from an 86-year-old pensioner.
