MY mother has recently been an in patient at Russells Hall several times over the last few months and whilst I admire the new building, the kindness of all staff and the levels of hygiene when entering wards.
I was wondering why patients in their nighties, pyjamas, dressing gowns, doctors and nurses in uniforms, are allowed to use the same restaurant and even go outside to smoking shelters.
Surely there is a chance that this can cause cross contamination.
We all need to take care not to pass on or catch these awful super bugs.
