GLASSBOYS boss Gary Hackett says his players will embrace the bumper War Memorial Ground crowd for this Saturday's showdown with FC United of Manchester.
Stourbridge are expecting to at least double their usual attendance with the visit of the well-supported side that currently sits in fourth place in the Northern Premier after narrowly missing out on promotion last term.
Stour are only seven points behind their weekend opponents but boast four games in hand. A victory for the Amblecote outfit would lift them onto the heels of the league's top sides.
"It is a massive game for us," admitted Hackett. "We have games in hand but now need to start getting points on the board. It would be a big statement on how far we can go if we could get a good result against the team that was probably most people's favourites to win the league this season."
"We have done a lot of travelling already this season but now have a few home games coming up that we have to take advantage of.
"This squad is used to playing in front of big crowds because of our previous FA Cup runs. It shouldn't be a problem at all. We need to embrace it and show what we can do."
The Glassboys crashed out of the FA Trophy after a 3-1 away loss against King's Lynn last Saturday but progressed in the Worcestershire Senior Urn following a 2-1 home win against Evesham on Tuesday.
They will now take on Kidderminster Harriers in the semi-final.
Meanwhile, Hackett says he is pleased with how new defensive signing Exodus Geohaghon has settled into the squad.
He said: "Exodus has a good pedigree and has settled in well. He is still finding his feet and getting used to playing with new players and in our system, but I'm pleased with how he has done."
All home supporters attending the FC United game will be required to enter the ground via the bottom turnstiles opposite the church.
The away team have been allocated all of the Shed End of the ground around to a cordoned off point. Away supporters only will be allowed to enter the ground via the Memorial arch main entrance, opposite the closed Royal Oak pub.
They will have use of the cricket pavilion during the afternoon with the Glassboys Bar open to home fans only.
Supporters are also requested to park away from the ground or use public transport. Car parking is available in Old Wharf Road, Mill Race Lane or the car park in Birmingham Street.
Provision will be made with FC United for the accommodation of their supporters coach and minibuses and also for disabled supporters of both teams attending the game.
Supporters are asked to come along early to avoid congestion at the turnstiles.
The club will also be staging a bucket collection at the turnstiles for Ben Billingham following his recent injury.
