Wombourne Athletic and Sedgley and Gornal Utd West served up a closely fought encounter full of good football in the Paycare Open Age Division of the Beacon Sunday Football League.
Jack Clark gave Wombourne an early lead before ace marksman Lee Dolman pulled one back for Sedgley. Owen Massey soon restored Wombourne’s lead 2-1 going into the half time break. Harry Llamas increased their lead to 3-1 to secure the points despite a late consolation from Sedgley’s Ed Tompkins.
The Warstones clash with Brandhall saw Brandhall notch their third victory of the season 2-0, still not conceding a goal. Mason Parkes converted a right wing cross in the 22nd minute.
Jakob Burroughs secured the points in the 56thminute scoring from just inside the area. Reece Mander a young centre half had an outstanding game whilst Lawson Birch and Connor Armstrong both worked hard in midfield.
Basement Boys, CT Rangers and unbeaten AFC Bloxwich served up 13 goals between them Robert Hinks, Thomas Battison and Reece Berry gave Bloxwich a 3-0 lead before Luke Burke pulled one back.
Reece Berry grabbed his second to make it 4-1 Lewis Cushley pulled another back before Jermelle Banner made the HT score 5-2 to Bloxwich.
Kailum Banner pulled a goal back just after the restart. Thomas Hayes made it 6-3 Cameron Ball pulled another back before a final 3 goals, an OG, Jermelle Banner strike and a hattrick goal to Reece Berry made the final score 9-4 to Bloxwich.
Delph Runners were no match for Dudley who smashed home 10 goals. George Bentley, Carrick Chaney and Callum Campbell opened up a 3-0 half time lead. Second half goals from Sam Collier 2, George Cope, Oliver Hartland and a further 3 from Callum Campbell completed an easy 10-0 victory.
In the Concentric Property over 30’s Division Diffusion FC ran out 9-4 winners over HC Rangers, the goal scorers being Simeon Pichie 3 Daniel Bragoli 2 with singles from Andrew Sperling, Richard Gummery and Daniel Yearwood.
MnF All Starz beat Warstone Wanderers OB 5-2 with goals from Alex Fletcher, Ricky Villa, Neil Julak, Amrick Sidhus and James Cook.
Casuals FC came out on top 4-2 against Shere Punjab Seniors the goals from Jimmy Scragg hattrick(2 pens) and his brother Billy Scragg. Arun Sanghera and Parvinder Sindhu replied for Punjab.
AFC Broadlands ran out 4-0 winners over Wolverhampton United Old Boys, the goals coming from Daniel Newton 2 Matt Brotherton and Jordan Holmes.
